Upload a pocket query of geocaching.com

What data is in the GPX file?

GPX (GPS Exchange Format) is an XML-based data format for tracks, waypoints and routes. The XML file is text-based and can be read with any text program (e.g. Notepad++). Since the file can usually be several dozen MB in size, opening it can take some time. Apart from your own geocaching username, the date and time of your finds and your own text log entry, no other personal data is stored. This means no first or last name, no email address, no home base coordinates, etc.

Important: The GPX file also contains corrected data from "Unknown Cache", which are however neither evaluated nor used in any other way. Reading the uploaded GPX file is only possible with direct server access and not via the Internet.

After the upload, your password will be displayed here, which you can use to delete your data.

The upload and analysis can take from a few seconds to 2 minutes, depending on the size of the pocket query. Please be patient!
